At what age should I consider face lift surgery? I was told by a doctor friend of mine that I should not even worry about it until I get into my mid fifties, but what about the possibility of scarring at older ages? I thought that getting a mini face lift might be a good start, but I am not really sure as to the best plan of attack in this matter. I do not want to wait for too long and have my skin lose elasticity, but I do not want to have plastic surgery done too early either. My doctor friend also told me that I should try to not think about it until it is something that I can not live without.
I guess that I understand what she meant, she doesn’t think that I should be rushed into getting my body altered. It makes sense when you think about it. Another thing that I am thinking about is the macs facelift procedure. Some people have been telling me that it is less traumatic than other procedures, even though the face is actually cut open, stretched, and sewn back together. If you ask me, this sounds like a pretty scary surgery, no matter who you are. I find it odd that so many women have had no second thoughts about whether or not to get the procedure done.
That seems like it would be a much larger decision to make than even a tattoo, which is also permanent as well. Many people probably just subscribe to the notion that life is short, and we need to make the very best out of it if we are going to enjoy this human experience to the fullest. Maybe I will check into getting the plastic surgery procedure after all.
